The ceremony and reception site are the same place at Starved Rock Lodge and Conference center. Address is: One Lodge Ln, Oglesby, IL 61348 It is wheelchair accessible!

There is a parking lot near the venue! It is a known hiking place so be prepared for a full parking lot!

The ceremony site is outdoors near the Lodge! We have up until the morning of to determine based on the weather if it will need to be moved indoors. The wedding is set near the end of summer so prepare for some warmer weather. Should the ceremony be moved indoors, guests will be notified ASAP via an announcement on the website. The reception is located in the Lodge, near the main entrance and blocked off by a white curtain.

Semi-Formal Attire or Dressy Casual Attire Guests are welcome to wear any attire that is comfortable for them! Expect warmer weathers with the evening possibly being a little chillier. Please avoid purples, greens and of course white as those are the colors for the wedding party!

Although we would love to celebrate with everyone, we have decided to keep the guest list limited. Your invitation will specify if you are allotted a plus one!

Of course! When sending out invitations, we made sure to include children as well! There will be a kid friendly dish of chicken fingers and French fries.

Selection of Hors D'oeuvres includes BBQ meatballs, deep-fried ravioli and assorted domestic sliced cheeses and crackers as well as Caesar salad. There will be two options for meat which is pork medallions or chicken cordon bleu. Sides included mashed potatoes and oven roasted vegetables. Our wedding is not buffet-style! We will have guests served a dish of their choice which can be specified when you RSVP! There will also be a dessert table. Please let Anna or James know if there are any dietary restrictions.

There is a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. After, there will be an open bar from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.! It is a standard open bar with house-brand liquors, wines and beers. No shots or pitchers of beers will be available. There is a bar outside of the reception area that has other brand liquors but guests would have to pay for those drinks themselves. Should you want to do this, cash and/or card would be needed.

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm so please arrive anywhere between 30-45 minutes depending on your lodging so you may secure a seat. The ceremony site will be outdoors and aside from the first two rows, guests are welcome to sit wherever they please.

Photos will be asked to wait more towards the reception! For the ceremony, please be mindful of the wedding photographer as we would love to have photos of our loved ones as opposed to photos of phones. A QR code will be available at your table during the reception which will direct photos you take to an online photo gallery! Feel free to post any photos you take to social media as well!

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 77 E Queenwood Rd Apt D Morton, IL 61550. A wedding card box will be at our reception
